The vast majority of students have commenced the 2023 school year wearing the College uniform correctly and appropriately. The College is making a concerted effort to set and maintain high standards of uniform from the very start of the school year to ensure clarity and consistency for students, parents/caregivers and staff. Parents/caregivers are requested to speak with their child about the College Uniform Expectations document below.
Students and parents are reminded about the key expectations listed below. In some situations, parents may have to make purchases to accommodate these expectations:
The above list is not exhaustive but provides parents and students with those areas of most concern. Sanctions will be imposed for students who fail to meet the College Uniform Expectations.
Parents/caregivers are reminded to refer to the Communication and Contact Flow Chart (below) so you are clear about who to contact should you have a matter to discuss.
Communication details of PCG teachers, ADPs and HOLAs are available on the College Website.
A reminder that the Years 10 and 11 Parent Information Evening is being held next week (Wednesday 15 February). We are very excited to once again be able to present a variety of new topics with new presenters. Time has also been allocated for you to meet with your child’s PCG teacher on the evening. You are welcome to attend one session in each time slot and make an appointment to see your child’s PCG teacher by following the steps provided below.
The format for the evening is provided below:
Positive thinking is a crucial habit for not only academic success but personal success. “A good attitude will outperform a bad attitude every time.” We don’t ignore problems. We don’t focus on problems. We focus on solutions. Be solution-focused – with a good attitude – and you will have more of all of the things in life you want! Being positive is SMART! (Zig Ziglar)
Unfortunately, COVID-19 is still prevalent in our community and that means that some students, parents/caregivers and staff will inevitably contract COVID-19 during the course of 2023. The following advice relating to what to do if you have COVID-19 has been copied from the WA Government website.
