Our Grow Free stand was an initiative of our newest garden volunteer Amelia who wanted to be able to share her excess produce with the community. Grow Free is an Australian grown organisation with carts all over the country. You can read more here

A new team at Quercus

Over the last several months a whole new team at Quercus have come on board. Led by Paivi Watson, the team includes a wealth of experience, energy and enthusiasm. The team are truly excited to connect with the community, revive some much loved Quercus Activities, and introduce some new ideas. Say 'Hi' to the team when you see them around! Our Community Op Shop & The Quercus Book Shop are social enterprises of Quercus Beechworth. All profits from these two volunteer-staffed businesses are used to fund our community activities and support programs. Shop at these businesses knowing that you're directly contributing to the wellbeing of the Beechworth Community and enjoy the good vibes! New volunteers are always very welcome. Contact Siobhan for further information if you'd like to join the team. Our Community Op Shop: 12A Camp St, 03 5728 1199Quercus Book Shop: 26-30 Ford Street, 03 5728 2386Both shops are open 7 days/week, 10 am-4pmThe Quercus Community Relief Program can provide groceries, frozen meals, food & fuel vouchers, pet food, baby supplies and personal care items, as well as connect you to other community groups for emergency support. The service for our community is provided with care and discretion by experienced volunteers. The Community Support Program can be accessed by calling 0408 860 231 Tuesday - Wednesday. On Monday, Friday & Saturday the Salvation Army can be contacted on 0427 503 948.
