FLOWERS by year F

Foundation children designed a pattern and chose colours for their individual flowers.

They then transferred this design onto shrink plastic to be heated and shrunk in the oven.

If you look very closely at each flower you will find the name of its creator.

HOUSES by year 1/2

Year 1/2 children used textured painted paper to collage these beautiful houses.

The colours and shapes look quite stunning.

MANDALA HANGING by year 3

We hope you love the intricate patterns on these mandalas.  Shrink plastic was used in creating this hanging.  The creator’s names can be found on each mandala.

Mandalas in the art are all about finding peace in the symmetry of the design and of the universe.

BIRDS by year 4/5

This collaborative piece of art focussed on the area of modelling. Children experimented with a new modelling material, which was hardened in the oven and resulted in these colourful and unique looking birds.

ZENTANGLE TREES by year 5/6

Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, mindful and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.  The patterns are called tangles. Children designed their tangles and embossed them into foil to create the leaves for this amazing tree. A coat of black paint, wiped back, helps to highlight the detail in each leaf.
