We are beyond proud of these students and their applications for Leadership for 2022.
We are excited to see what they will achieve and the new ideas they implement at our school to ensure their voices are heard!
Let's Go CSPS 2022!
Congratulations to our new iSea iCare ambassadors Charlie, Arizona, Tegan and Mia.
We had a wonderful day out on Moonraker in Port Phillip Bay observing our natural marine life.
Moonraker Dolphin Swim by Charlie
Last Tuesday I went on the Moonraker boat and went swimming with the seals. We saw lots of dolphins but one of the dolphins had a baby, so we couldn't swim with them. That was a bit sad but at least I got to go to Pope's Eye and swim there. We saw so many different types of fish, birds and seagrass.
Next we went to Chinaman’s hat and swam and played with the seals. I was playing with the seals under the water for 20 minutes. It was really fun.
After that we hopped back on the boat. They gave us a hot chocolate to warm up. On the way back we saw dolphins again and they were diving through the water next to the boat. My favourite part of the day was playing with the seals at Chinaman's hat.
What a great experience to be an iSea iCare ambassador.
Moonraker Dolphin Swim - Mia
On Tuesday the 30th of November, the iSea iCare team for 2022 had our first excursion! We participated in the Moonraker Dolphin Swim. It was so much fun and we were so lucky to be able to join the marine life. We got on the boat and did our first swim at Popes Eye; it was pretty cold but we did see heaps of colourful fish!
My favourite was the seal swim. The water was so clear and the seals were beautiful. I got to swim right next to one and we were dancing together.
We went to the beach as well. We saw birds, starfish, jellyfish, cool rocks and more! We even had a seaweed fight! Overall I rate my first iSea iCare experience a 10/10!
I am looking forward to my next activity to learn about our incredible marine life.
