Cancellation Or Postponement Of Term 4 Events
The PFA are sad to announce that some of the events originally scheduled to take place during Term 4 have had to be postponed until next year or cancelled altogether.
We hope that, as restrictions start to ease, we will be able to open the Canteen on Fridays for icy poles and slushies, but this will be heavily dependent on what will be allowed and how it can be carried out safely so not to impact the health and safety of our school community.
Spotlight On Local Businesses
The PFA understands that the recent lockdown has impacted local businesses, and we would love to shine a spotlight on them as we head into Christmas. We would like to support as many businesses which are run by families within our school community as much as possible through this challenging period.
If you would like to nominate a local business or your own business, please email the details through to pfa@scoresbyps.vic.edu.au and we will put together a piece to be published in our section of the school’s newsletter each fortnight.
Calling For New PFA Members In 2022
Several members of the PFA will be stepping down from their existing roles in 2022 and we would like to invite members of the school community to consider joining the PFA next year.
Without new members the PFA will, most likely, not run in 2022 and our children will miss out on the exciting events that they have had this year, notably the Pizza Lunch, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Stalls, as well as Canteen Days. Some of the roles available include:
- Secretary - Event Co-Ordinators
- Treasurer - General Members

- Color Run: Postponed until Term 2, 2022
- Pizza Lunch: Cancelled
- Christmas Raffle: All donations received as part of the Father’s Day Raffle will now be included in the end-of-year Christmas Raffle. The PFA welcomes any additional donations.
