Could your story help rehome cats and kittens in need?

Do you have a Furry Tail to share?

Are you a cat lover with a passion for writing who would love to help support the work of The Cat Protection Society in caring for and rehoming cats in need? We would love to hear from you.

The Cat Protection Society are inviting writing enthusiasts young and old to prepare and share their very own unique short story aimed at preschool to junior primary school aged children that helps to educate the community on responsible cat ownership and raise the profile of cats as companion pets.

Our winning stories will be published into an illustrated Children’s Picture Story Book that will be available from our Society retail and online store and incorporated into our Primary Education Program.
