Students of the Week

The following students will receive their certificates assemblies on the following dates:

Friday 22nd October

To Prep A (PA) -  for a fantastic return to on-site learning. Congratulations Prep A for settling back to school in such a positive way!

Alma W (PB) -  For demonstrating bravery and zest when she modelled and taught ALL the Foundation students and teachers the Time Warp dance. Thank you so much Alma!

Elise A (12A) -  Elise Arthur: for being positive and participating in our WebEx sessions. You have done a fabulous job in our money unit and have shown how well you know how to identify and add coins to find the total. Keep up the awesome work!

Oscar B (12C) -  For always contributing his thoughts to class discussions on WebEx and demonstrating Personal Best values to his learning. Oscar consistently challenges his learning through questioning and taking on extra opportunities. Well done Oscar

Amaya I (34A) - For the fantastic effort she is putting into her reading. Amaya reads with great expression and thinks about what she has read and already knows, to answer questions. Keep up the amazing work, Amaya! 

Reina M (34B) -  For working on building his stamina for writing. Reina is completing more application work and finding recording answers less challenging. He commences tasks quickly when onsite, and completes the tasks in the time given. Your efforts are paying off Reina, with work completed that you can feel proud of.

Rebecca (34C) - For using the sharing equally strategy to solve division problems. You solved many problems and wrote all the number sentence to match. Super effort. 

Tyler (56A) -  For your hard work and focus with your remote learning work. Especially writing, it was really great to see your similes poem this week. 

Liam H (56B) - Your algebra work in maths over the past few weeks has been amazing. I have loved seeing you working out the function rule and applying your skills to find the missing numbers. Keep up the great work!

 

Friday 29th October

 Emerson (PA) - For settling in so well back from Remote Learning and applying Personal Best efforts to her tasks. Amazing effort Emerson!

Mabel C (PB) - For returning to school so settled and eager to learn. Mabel is a great leader in our grade and sets a fantastic example for everyone. Well done Mabel! 

Zephyr A (12A) -  For doing your personal best in all takes and constantly showing up to WebEx. It has been wonderful you set a good example for you peers by being resilient and contributing to classroom discussion. Way to go!

Nate I (12C) - For always showing Personal Best values to his learning and being an active member of the class during Remote Learning. Nate has worked really hard on his learning tasks while sharing his humour in our class discussions. Well done Nate

Chloe S (34A) -  For the wonderful work she is doing in Remote Learning. Chloe asks questions to ensure she understands tasks and completes all work to a high standard. You are a star, Chloe! 

Lilly D (34B) - Attending all WebEx sessions with her teachers and contributing ideas during the 'We do' part of the task. Lilly is also putting in a great effort with the tasks she is submitting, showing she is thinking through what is expected and doing her Personal Best. What a great role model you are for our class Lilly.

Marly M (34C) -  Always trying your personal best with your tasks. This week you worked really hard on your Possum Magic writing task and converting time in maths. Keep up the great work.  

Lola (56A) - For going above and beyond every week with your school work. You have such a wonderful attitude to learning and should be so proud of yourself- these are skills that will support you to thrive well into the future. 

Kian M (56B) - The haiku poems you wrote over the past week have been so good. It’s been great seeing you use the 5 senses to create feeling and emotion with your word choice, while successfully using the haiku structure. Well done Kian!
