Principal's Report

Dear parents, friends and Father Arsenio,

To say that we are looking forward to our students returning would be an understatement. I think it may be matched by our parents relief at this as well. The return to school road map came with no further information and essentially we as a school have to make it work for us. This does take time to set up and I appreciate your patience. The calendar outline sent home shows when each level is returning to school and a letter providing further details will also be sent. This will include information on masks for students, parent access to the school, vaccinations and staggered finishes amongst other things.

Marianne our RE leader and I are in conversation with Father around how Eucharist can still occur this year. We are aiming to hold outdoor masses that will allow for many candidates and their families. Further information will follow once dates have been confirmed AND regulations have changed.

Annually all people in our community are asked to complete a survey called MACSIS. Kate in our office has sent details to all families and I am setting 50% of all families completing it as a pass mark. Kate and I will do our best to keep you up to date with this target. It ensures that we have accurate information that assists in improving all aspects of our school. Rest assured I will listen and act.
