Year 7 Wellbeing Day
On Wednesday March 2nd, all Year 7 students participated in a wellbeing day – It was so wonderful to be able to celebrate wellbeing days again, bring in guest speakers and have fun all together.
The day consisted of various workshops – every student went from group to group, so they had the opportunity to participate in everything.
Cyber Safety with Legal Aid –
Legal Aid representative, Bridget, presented a very informative session on cyber safety. The students were very engaged.
Mindfulness with Darryl –
Darryl, a member of the wellbeing team, took the students through some mindfulness, a way to breath, relax and reboot.
Teamwork with Kate –
Kate, another member of our wellbeing team, took the students through some team building activities – a way to manoeuvre down a plank, using different forms of communication
Yoga with Emerald Pilates –
Di, from Emerald Pilates, took the students through some basic yoga moves, stretching and movement.
Fun in EPAC -
We ended the day all together in EPAC - We had fun playing some interesting Minute to Win It games” Tea-towel races, balloon popping games, stocking balls on their heads etc
The photos do not do it justice - It was a wonderful day
