Recognition this week:
Jac Knowles - For always going above and beyond for the students and other staff. You're an incredible asset to Rollins Primary.
Adara M - "I would like to consider Adara M for the Reach award.
She was not able to attend athletics day and rather than stay at school or home she chose to go along to the athletic sports with a parent. She showed the following school values:
Respect - Adara respected all her friends and all other Rollins children participating
Encouragement - Adara screamed and chanted her little heart away from the sideline to encourage her friends that were participating in the events
Ambition – Adara showed ambition in being there to support everyone
Consideration - Even though I know Adara would have love to be involved, she elected to go and support her peers and the school
I think Adara did an amazing job.
In 2022 each classroom will have a copy of the REACH Values Positive Behaviour Matrix poster (see below). This poster provides examples of what each value looks like in various settings in our school community. This will be used in restorative conversations with children and as a benchmark of behaviour for each and every member of the Rollins PS community.
