Scienceworks Excursion

Grades 1 & 2

On Friday 2nd September students from Grades 1 & 2 visited Scienceworks Museum.

As part of the Inquiry topic, students have been investigating different forces that can make an object move. As part of this unit, the students attended a workshop run by the Scienceworks Museum  called, "Roller Coaster Engineer". In this program students worked in groups to meet a design challenge with limited resources. Students  observed the physics of energy, force and inertia as they designed, tested and modified their roller coasters.
