SWIMMING & WATER SAFETY LESSONS

begin next week! 

This coming Monday 22nd August we begin our 9-day Whole School Swimming program at the BlueFit Swim School in Sandringham.  Please ensure you have accepted the Operoo permission email or have emailed your child’s teacher in regards to their participation.  It’s vital that all children come to school each day prepared for these swimming lessons, so we ask that you please read over all information shared in the Operoo email.  

Note: All students are required to attend.   Spectators welcome:  the pool has wonderful spectator stands for family members to come along and view  their child swim.  Please assist Swim Instructing staff  staying away from the busy pool deck area.

*Important: SWIMMING CAPS are COMPULSORY.  School House coloured caps may be purchased via the school office for $8. (cash preferred).  A detailed list of what to wear and bring for the lessons can be found in detail within the Operoo.   

DISTRICT ATHLETICS TEAM ANNOUNCED

A team of 78 students are set to represent our school at the upcoming Dendy District Athletics carnival on Tuesday 30th August.  We wish all team members all the very best as they prepare for their event/s. This year the Athletics carnival is being held at Duncan McKinnon Reserve in Murrumbeena.  All families will have received an Operoo permission and information email on Tuesday this week.  

Any parents willing to volunteer an hour or two to help run the triple jump event for us, please email Tania with your availability or tick the helper section within the Operoo email.
