Book Fair & Book Week!

Lamont Book Fair 

The Lamont Book Fair starts this week. Each student will have the opportunity to browse the selection of books and they will bring home a wish list of books that they would like to purchase...parents may then choose to purchase these books or not.  

We will have opportunities for parents to browse the Book Fair as well. These times are:

Friday 19th August 3pm - 4pm

Monday 22nd August 8:25am - 9am 

Location : School Library

Book Week

Dear Parents, 

Alert! Fun times ahead! As you probably know the children have been preparing for Book week. This year the theme is “Dreaming with eyes open” . We ask that all children come dressed as a character from any book. 

We ask that the costumes are easy, fun  and no fuss.  As a suggestion, you could find or make something from home!

There are many ideas about Book Week online, such as Story Box online or in local libraries. On this Friday 19/08/22 we will have a whole school Art theme with posters.

Please note this year Book Week  is being celebrated a little early on Friday 19/08/22 at  St Finbar’s due to our Swimming Programme which will run during the official Book Week period.   All children to come dressed up as any book character from any book on Friday 19/08/22.
