All Day OSHC: A reminder that OSHC will run All Day OSHC: Friday the 16th of September from 7:30am to 6pm.

An excursion has been organized for the day to CERES from 9:30am -2:30pm with no extra cost ($85 before CCS)

Students will be required to bring their lunch boxed and OSHC will provide breakfast and afternoon tea.

Only 6 spots available.

 

Down Ball Crisis: A big thank you for all the students that have returned or donated down balls. We would like to have a few more.

Lost Property: Thank you to all the families who have come forward and collected the lost items – we have a few more to go but this will be now dispatched at the school office.

SunSmart: a reminder that with SunSmart policy students are required to follow sun protection with their hats and sunscreen.

 

Cooking Club: Vanilla Cookies with a taste of native herbs and spices

At OSHC students have been really enjoying making (and eating) the vanilla cookies with some native herbs and spices. These cookies have been so popular that we would like to share the recipe, so students and their families can have a go at home. Let us know how you go:

Ingredients:

100 grams butter softened

50 grams caster sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon of any of native herbs (see picture)

150 grams of self-raising flour

 

PROGRAM For week 9 of Term 3:

 

 

(*) a variety of cereals is offered (porridge, corn flakes, weet-bix, rice balls) and a selection of toast (wholemeal bread or fruit toast) with spreads (jam, butter, nuttlex or vegemite) is available every morning

(**) fruit and vegetable platters are offered every afternoon
