People who regularly make the effort to say thank you, even for the little things someone does for them, experience more positive emotions because they notice the good things done to them.By thanking the people in your life for the big or little things, you can make yourself happier by focusing on the impact they have on your life. It’s also always really nice to be thanked, so you get to make someone else’s day a bit brighter too!

Working on empathy helps us to identify, understand and feel what another person is feeling. When we show empathy or we do something kind for someone else, our brain releases oxytocin. This leads to us increasing our self-esteem/confidence, energy levels, positivity and overall happiness.
Daily Reflection: Ask everyone in the family to name someone who was kind to them today. What did that person do? How did it make you feel?
