Learning Intentions & Success Criteria

At St Edward's School we use Learning Intentions and Success Criteria to make learning visible for all students. Learning Intentions are descriptions of what learners should know, understand and be able to do by the end of a learning period. Success Criteria are the measures used to determine how well learners have met the learning intentions.

Learning Intentions and Success Criteria are an integral part of the teaching and learning process  at our school. They ensure all students know what they are going to learn and where they are heading. Our teachers use Success Criteria to provide important feedback to the students on their academic progress.

Please enjoy listening to some of our wonderful students reflecting on the value of Learning Intentions and Success Criteria.
