Survival Winter Kits

With the winter months now in full swing and the evenings getting cold our STEAM team will be running a session focusing on what we can do as individuals to support our local communities. As part of this session, we will be looking into ‘Survival Winter Kits’ that can help homeless community members.

On behalf of the STEAM learning area team, we will be putting together winter survival kits for homelessness in our region. Your donations towards this project would be greatly appreciated.

Below is a list of examples, however, we will accept donations of any items you think may be useful. Collection points will be located at the Main Office as well as the House Leader’s Office.

Examples of suitable items for donations are:

• Backpacks/Bags
• Band-Aids
• Combs
• Deodorant
• Soap
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Tissues
• Gloves
• Hat
• Rain poncho
• Socks
• Beanie
• Non-perishable food
• Water bottles
• Face wipes
• Hand sanitiser
• Torch
• Pen/notepad
