Our annual cross-country event held at Fyansford Common on Friday 18th May, saw our staff and students racing to beat the rain that hit us right in the middle of the event. Still it was lovely run, jog or walk for everyone involved along the beautiful Barwon river.
This year’s winner was once again Lipson/Red House with a huge score of 202 points, beating the other Houses with Freeman/Green on 188, Gilmore/Blue on 166 and Beachley/Gold with 97.
The quickest time of the day over the 4km course was from our 13 year old age group competitor in Alice McAloon (Freeman House) with a time of 17.09 minutes.
