Year 7 Visual Art, ‘Landscape Painting’

Within this unit the students explore landscapes as the subject matter for the process of making an artwork. They will analyse a landscape by a well-known, recognised artist, in a written format following a set criterion. They will paint a landscape using colour, texture, impasto and acrylic paint through art practice. After they have completed their small canvas painting the students will present and evaluate their finished art piece. The students pictured are from years 7L and 7A and are presently working on their art pieces.
