Welcome back to Term 2. 

Welcome back to Term 2. We hope you have all had a enjoyable Easter. 

It has been great to see how quickly middle students have settled back into our classroom routines. Not only have students settled back into routines, but they have shown great resilience, as the last two weeks have been busy! 

We have lots happening over the next few weeks: 

2nd - 6th May: KPS book Fair. Come and check out our book fair before and after school up in the senior building.

6th May - Whole School Athletics

7th May: Dance Incursion

8th May: Mother's Day Stall

14th - 24th May: NAPLAN

31st May: Middle School Excursion

If you have any questions about anything that is happening in Middle School in the next month, please see your classroom teacher. 

Cross Country

Today we had cross country. We walked down to Elizabeth Bridge and thankfully the rain held off!! It was great to see how well the middle students demonstrated all of our school values while running and waiting. Congratulations to all students for giving it a go!

'KPS walked to Elizabeth Bridge Reserve to do cross country. First the Seniors ran their laps around the park, next Middle ran around the park and they did two laps. After the middles and Seniors went, the Juniors and Foundation completed one lap. I really enjoyed it because even though it tired me out I liked the competition.' - Catherine Loly 

'Today I was in cross country I was in the 10's and I was running I came 5th and I made it to district. I loved it and enjoyed cross country .' - Ashlie Woodworth

'On Thursday 2nd of May we had cross country at Elizabeth Bridge. We got there and there were only patches on blue in the sky. We waited until our colour on our tag was called. We went up to the starting line and off we went. ZOOM! it was SO Fun!' - Jack Burrows

Term 2 Learning Enrichment Activities

Just a reminder that term levies are due. We have a few activities this term that require payments and permissions. If you could please log on to Sentral and double check that all permissions and payments have been made.
