Welcome Gabrielle Nagle - Our new MFG school nurse

Hello everyone, my name is Gabrielle Nagle and I am excited to join your fantastic school as the new Secondary School Nurse. I live on the Bellarine and enjoy time at the beach and camping with my young family.

I have a background as an Outdoor Education leader, working in a variety of outdoor settings such as; canoeing, white water paddling, rock climbing, and bushwalking.

I have also worked in a hugely satisfying and rewarding career as a Registered Nurse at Barwon Health’s Geelong hospital on the Paediatric Ward since 2010 caring for our communities’ sickest babies, children and adolescents.

My role as a Secondary School Nurse is to support the health and wellbeing of students at MFG. I plan on doing this through classroom and small group sessions on health promotion and health education in areas of adolescent health. In addition, I will be available to students for individual counsel, support and referral.

My role doesn’t specifically include first aid so continue to see your designated first aid officer at the school.

I will be at the school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and my desk will be within the staff room area -come say hi and let me know if I can help out at all.
