Chess Club 2019

On Tuesday 19 February, twenty of the top Chess enthusiasts of Nossal played to see who would qualify for the Nossal Chess teams. These teams will go on to play in inter-school tournaments. The tournament ran for 7 rounds, played between 9.00am and 12.30pm. The atmosphere was electric amid the clicking of chess clocks. The event was all-in-all very competitive but entertaining.

Congratulations to our top three participants, Nicholas Illic, John Wang and Ryan Han for their excellent performances. I am looking forward to watching Nossal dominate in the inter-school tournaments, and I hope that we see more events like this at Nossal in future.
