5/6 Interschool Sport Report

Logan M and Jesse C report on 5/6 Interschool sport:

The first match of the season was against arch enemy Marymede. Everyone contributed and played an excellent match but we went down by 2 goals. The next 2 weeks were washouts so we decided to do training and match analysis.

After 2 weeks off we played Mernda Park and everyone came out firing. We played fantastic football and came out triumphant with a 100-12 win. We followed this with another smashing win over Harvest Home.

We were poised for a top 2 finish but this would come down to a tight contest verse Morang South. We got off to a hot start but they came back hard, coming to within 3 goals of us at three quarter time. Luckily, we were able to hold them off 43-13.

Our final game of the season was against Al Siraat and we came out 53-1 victors. We played a fantastic team game; sharing the pie which meant spreading the goals around to as many of our teammates as possible. Our captain for the season was Jesse and we finished 2nd overall.
