Final Week of School

Final Week of School  - Happy Dance!

Last week the following information was sent home to parents on ParentPaperwork.  For your convenience it is  reprinted here.

We are nearly at the close of our school year with the final week coming up.  It's going to be a big week with plenty of special activities we want you to know about. 

On Monday, Dec 11 we will have a special assembly for our term awards.  The big awards night for the whole year is on Thursday the 14th but we will acknowledge students who have earned honour roll and other term achievements on Monday morning.  All parents and friends are welcome.  Normal school uniform on Monday.

On Tuesday, Dec 12 we will have an end-of-year party at the Aquacoaster Waterslide and Putt Putt.  Parents should have received a separate email about that with all the details.  Students wear sports clothes on Tuesday and will need to bring their swimming gear.

We're also heading into final rehearsals for our end-of-year Musical, The Loaned Manger!  We will have two rehearsal days at the Mildura Arts Centre (MAC) on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th December, but different finishing times will apply to each day.  Both days, students will need to be dropped off at the Arts Centre between 8:30 and 9:00 am.   The school bus will operate as normal all week, picking up bus students and delivering them to school or MAC in the morning and then home again in the afternoon unless you have notified us otherwise.

Both Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th December, students will need to:

• wear casual clothes (please ensure all clothing is named or at least that they have a bag to put all their clothes in as students will be changing into their costumes back-stage)
• bring substantial snacks and lunch
• bring a named water bottle

 Thursday, 14 December  Presentation Night

6:15pm arrival for 6:30pm start at Mildura Arts Centre   -   Awards Ceremony at 6:30 pm,    Musical, The Loaned Manger approx 8pm

All students will need to be in full summer uniform for the Awards Ceremony.  In addition, all boys will need to wear their school tie (with their short sleeved shirt). 

 All students will be dismissed for the holidays at the close of our presentation night on Thursday (14th).
