Class Dojo and Classroom Communication

At Holy Trinity we see communication to parents as an important aspect of school life so as everyone can work together. Many of the classes from Kindergarten to Year 6 have started to use Class Dojo. This is a classroom communication app used to share reports between parents and teachers. Teachers can track student behaviour and upload photos or videos. If your child’s classroom teacher is using this app, it would be great if you could connect to the app. You are also able to receive notifications when they come through or you can turn this off. If you have problems connecting to your class account, please don’t hesitate to ask your child’s teacher. Other classroom teachers have also set up email accounts so as they can make regular contact and send photos. Through both of these services you are able to let classroom teachers know of any concerns you or your child is having as well. All information is kept private.

School Photos

The School Photos are being today and tomorrow Wednesday 12 and 13 March. Please make sure children are extra neat and tidy and in full school uniform. Order forms need to come back ASAP if you wish to purchase any.

Easter Fair

Our K-6 classes are starting to get organised for the stalls at the Easter Fair, which is being held on Friday 5 April. If you are unsure what your child’s class is responsible for please contact your classroom teacher. Even a little bit of assistance will go a long way!

Collecting Children from School

A reminder that school finishes at 3:20pm. Students are supervised at waiting tree and bus lines until 3:45pm. If you are running late to collect your child, please contact the office. A number of the children are becoming confused as to whether they should be on the bus or are being collected at the ‘Waiting Tree/Kiss and Drop Zone’. It would be helpful if you could send a note with your child if this changes day-to-day so as they can check where the correct place is if they get confused.
