Senior Years

Senior Years Final Service

The Senior Years Final Service was dedicated to the recognition of a vast array achievements and a student review of the year. I would like to congratulate and thank students who were highlighted for their achievements and endeavours.

A group of Year 10 students, Hamza Alison, Joel Davidson, Grace Gregurev and Peyton Hampel, and Year 11 students, Katie Bowler, Meaghan Koch, Joshua Vollebregt and Jack Willsmore also reflected on the year and I thank them for having the courage to share their thoughts and experiences. Their sentiments clearly expressed their appreciation for the many learning experiences, wellbeing and development activities and events. Faraz Mangi and Rachel Pfeiffer shared the numerous initiatives and contributions the Student Action Team made in its inaugural year. The service was also enriched by musical performances including Jack Willsmore’s solo on the saxophone and a vocal performance by Meaghan Koch as part of the Worship Band with Alex Schmocker.

Some students, however, are not recognised formally on stage for their ongoing involvement in College life. I would like students to know that their efforts and participation do not go unnoticed and that all students make significant, unique and important contributions as a part of the Endeavour community.

All students should be very proud of their development, learning and progress they have made throughout the year. I encourage all students to continue to set lofty goals that propel them into the future.

The end of the school year inevitably brings change and is a time when some of our student community choose to follow new pathways. For those in this position, I wish you blessings on behalf of the College as you pursue your next adventure and passion. We hope that you will look back in years to come with fond memories of your time here.

To the senior students, it has been a privilege, and incredibly rewarding working with all you all and your families as the Director of Senior Years. As we look toward 2020, I encourage you to embrace every opportunity as you continue to thrive and develop. Reflect on your capacity for leadership, the potential for your impact on our culture is boundless, and always remember every senior student has a responsibility for leadership.

I would like to wish all families a very happy Christmas and a refreshing holiday period. On behalf of the teaching and administrative staff I want to thank you for your support, encouragement and feedback as we partner with you in the education of your child. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year. May you and this world know God’s peace.
