K-6 Primary Sport
K-6 Sport Week 2
All sport for K-6 will be held on Thursday this week. Please remind your child to wear their sports uniform. Kindergarten and Year 1 will have class sport during the day and Year 2-6 will be travelling to the pool at 3:00pm for the swimming carnival. All Year 2 students need to be collected from the pool at 5:30pm. There is no school Friday as it is a Pupil Free Day.
Polding Summer Trials
Good luck to Angus Harris and Will de Gunst who are travelling to Newcastle on Thursday to compete in the Polding Cricket Trials as members of the Armidale Diocesan team. We wish them every success and a safe return.
Year 3-6 Sport - Term 1
Over the next 8 weeks students from Year 3-6 will start class rotations through a variety of activities for sport. As part of the rotation each week, one class will be going Ten Pin Bowling at ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’ and another will be heading to the Indoor Centre or King Fit while the other 6 classes will stay at school and participate in basketball, touch, indoor hockey, sofcrosse, cricket or tee ball. This week it is 5/6G’s turn to go to Indoor ($3.50) and 3/4M will go bowling ($8.00). If you have any concerns please contact Mrs Dal Santo. Up-Coming Sports Dates Term 1

Swimming Carnival
The School Swimming Carnival will be held at the Town Pool on Thursday, 8 February starting at approximately 3:30pm with a whole school relay across the pool. Official events will start with the 100m races at approximately 3:45pm. No definite start times can be given. Parents are welcome to attend. A BBQ will be operating on the night. There will be no school on Friday, 9 February for students in K – Year 10 in lieu of the students’ attendance at the carnival Thursday night. If your child cannot participate due to medical reasons or is absent on the night then they must bring in a note to their classroom teacher. Events will include 25m & 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and 100m Freestyle (Year 2 will only participate in 25m Free, Breast, Back and novelties in the shallow end of the pool). The Carnival will be combined with the secondary students. Staff throughout the night will supervise all children from Years 2 - 6. The baby pool is out of bounds to all Holy Trinity students throughout the night.
