School of Wonder

Unprecedented Distance Learning Launched

What an interesting first week of term we have had as we embarked on our first ever week of distance learning. I found space at home, like many of us, to teach/ work from home. Decking it out with a desk, my laptop, iPad, some inspiring books, notepad  and of course some plants to make it a comfortable place I want to be (as we know the environment is the third educator).

It has been so lovely to see the School of Wonder children completing the tasks from the SOW distance learning site  and uploading their beautiful work and messages to Seesaw.  They are really able to showcase the technology skills that they have learned over their time at school.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank each and every parent who is on this journey with us. It has been a week full of uncertainty for many and new learning for most. I sincerely thank you for your patience,  as we have been frantically trying to resolve any technical challenges that have been brought to our attention as quickly as possible.

Keep up the positive vibes and to all of you,  take care in this strange and unprecedented time. I hope to see St Anne’s bustling with our beautiful students and community members in the near future.
