A word from Ian....

Dear Parents / Carers,

Our first term is flying by really fast. We have some exciting events to finish the term.

Colour Explosion /Holi Day

Everyone is welcome to come along next Tuesday 10th March to join in the fun of our colour explosion. All money raised will go towards the container and play equipment to go inside.

Easter hat parade

On 27th March we will have our Easter hat parade at 9am in the gym so start creating a special hat for the parade.

I wonder if the Easter Bunny will make an appearance?

Curriculum Day

Our Curriculum Day is on the 20th March. Children are not required at school on this day. Teachers will be learning about the Respectful Relationships program. We are a lead school in this program for other schools in our area.

Cultural Dress up Day - 23rd March

On 23rd March to celebrate our diversity and where we all come from, we are having a cultural dress up day.

Our assembly on this day will be a parade of all the amazing costumes and outfits children are wearing.

Surfing Excursion - 19th March

Our year 6 students are going surfing to learn how to surf and about water safety at the beach as part of their swim program. We hope they have a great day.

Homework

Please ensure children are reading each night, use the learning apps provided and completing their homework grid.

Information night - Numeracy

Thank-you to all the parents who came to the info night about literacy. 

Our next information night is on 11th March and will focus on helping your child to be a great mathematician.
