Twilight Fete - Saturday 16th March 2019

Well what a busy first term we have had for 2019.  There was a great atmosphere and buzz around the school throughout the term.  On Saturday 16th March we had our first ever Twilight Fete from 3pm -8pm.  The Fete is one of the School's biggest fundraising events, held every second year.

With the help of the P.F.A.,  the Principal Ms Satchwell and Assistant Principal Miss Licciardio, Teachers, Office Staff and Parent helpers, it was the most fun filled, entertaining Fete we have experienced to date.  The weather was perfect.  We had overwhelming community support from businesses both local and afar, with sponsorships and donations.

Huge congratulations to our Major Raffle Prize Winner !

Mrs Rosalie Lee won a Trampoline valued at $699, generously donated by our friends at Vuly Play

We also had great support from Local M.P.'s Mark Dreyfus and Tim Richardson who was one of the day's highlights on the Dunking Machine.

Ms Satchwell & Ms Licciardo were very popular too with the kids ready to aim for their favourite target and watch them get wet!!

There was always something happening throughout the day with an array of hot foods, cake stall, B.B.Q, coffee and ice-cream vans.

There were market stalls and fabulous rides.  The Trackless Train going around the oval was very popular for the little ones and the Dodgem Cars were a big hit for everyone, plus gorgeous ponies to ride at the front of the school, just to name a few.

There were many activities to participate in such as face painting, rope climbing with local Scouts,

Chelsea Auskick, mini golf, etc. and the stage was a popular attraction with exciting live performances.

I wish to extend a huge thank you to the wonderful P.F.A. Committee - you were all amazing, worked well under pressure and pulled together with family, friends and the whole school community to make this event the best the school has ever seen!!!

Thank you to all who helped and attended, supported and donated.  You are all amazing.

Looking forward to Fun Food Day and the Easter Bonnet Parade on Friday 5th April - Last Day of Term 1.

*Note that the canteen is not open on the last day of Term.

Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Easter break & finds lots of chocolate eggs from The Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday!  Yummy.

See you all back in Term 2, well rested.

Mrs Mandy Munroe, P.F.A. President
