Donations
Our library has been swamped with book donations (perhaps a big thank you to Marie Kondo??)
I would like to personally acknowledge the donations by Amanda Trewin who brings in boxes and boxes of books and has also helped with all the contacting!
Wendy Orr
I was very lucky to be able to attend the middle school author incursion! Nims Island is one of my favourite children’s stories and to get to meet Wendy was very exciting! She showed the students creative ways to come up with writing their own novel. She showed us a power point presentation on how Nims Island came about, and went into detail about the movie production. The students were able to see what it was like behind the scenes. They all asked many questions about the book and were excited to purchase their own books and have them signed.
