Division Softball

A big well done to our boys Softball Team who at the last minute got a place in the Division Softball finals.  The boys managed to finish third and have shown such growth in their skills this year. The boys even managed to get a double play getting two players out in one play with some great batting displayed also.  Well done boys on a great effort and you have really improved skills this season. Thanks to Danny Walk for the hours of time he has given up this year for our Softball and T-Ball Teams, your knowledge and experience is really appreciated and I know the boys are very grateful for the time, and skills you have taught them.

Congratulations to our Girls Softball Team who had some very convincing wins at the Division Softball finals on Monday.  The girls managed a clean sweep for the day winning every match and the Grand Final 14 – 2 against Huntingtower. Congratulations girls on your great teamwork, and willingness to listen and learn this season.  Thanks to the huge parent support crew at all their games, a special thanks to Grace Lee for working with Kate Baxter to have 2 very experienced coaches, these girls were extremely lucky to have such great knowledge and coaches guiding them through their games.  We wish our girls’ team the best of luck at the Region Finals later in October. Good luck girls, you can do it!!!

Well done to our Girls A team who will now progress to the Tennis Hot Shots Region finals later this year.  These teams have been waiting since Term 1 to play their Division finals and they had a great day at the courts and their behavior and sportsman ship represented Mt View as we would expect.  Well done to our players for the honesty, hard work and resilience when playing some challenging players. Thanks to Miss Anthonisz for her work with our tennis team this season and another win to our Year 6 girls!
