2019 Planning

Our planning for 2019 is well underway in regards to staffing and class structure. If any family knows that they will not be returning in 2019 I ask you to make contact with the school office as soon as possible.

Next week there will be the following timetable changes as staff will be planning extensively for 2019:

ABC Music Concert

Next Wednesday, 5th December at 2:45 pm , the children who have been having keyboard and guitar lessons during the year with ABC Music will perform for the school community.

Recently some of our students sat their first music exams with the Australian Music Examination Board. We congratulate Leila Gwynne, Carl Refardt and Zoe Taylor who each sat for the Grade One exam and passed with flying colours! Together with their families we are all extremely proud of their efforts.

PFA News

The Christmas Raffle, which will be drawn at the end of year school picnic and concert on Tuesday 18th December, is fast approaching.

We would welcome any donations from families and businesses to include in our raffle. If you would like to donate a gift, please contact the school office.

Next week each family will receive a set of ten (10) raffle tickets to sell to family and friends. Tickets cost $1:00 each and there will be some wonderful prizes on offer.

Sewing Help Needed

In preparation for our new Year Prep children in 2019 we require the services of a couple of ‘handy’ people to sew together a new batch of Library bags for our Preps.

If you can help out, please call in and see me at the office.

Year 6 Transition Day

On Monday, Year 6 students from the local Catholic primary schools came out to participate in our annual Transition Day. For more information about the day and to see some photos, look at  the Student Wellbeing page.

Zooper Doopers

Our Social Justice Leaders will be selling Zooper Doopers again at lunchtime this Friday.  The Zooper Doopers cost $1.00 each and all proceeds will go towards our Social Justice initiatives this term.

Have a wonderful week

God bless
