Cricket Club

Another big weekend of cricket has just been completed with a round of one-day games. The highlights were derbies in the U13 and U17 age groups, with the ‘Gold’ team in both having easy wins. Results of games from the weekend;

  • U10 Gold defeated Ascot
  • U10 Blue lost to Willeton Blue
  • U11 Gold had the bye
  • U11 Blue defeated Willeton Gold
  • U11 White lost to Willeton Red
  • U12 Blue lost to Willeton Blue
  • U12 Gold lost to Willeton Red
  • U13 Gold defeated U13 Blue in the LMJCC derby
  • U14 Gold lost to Gosnells
  • U14 Blue lost to Ascot
  • U15 defeated Riverton/Rossmoyne
  • U17 Gold defeated U17 Blue in the LMJCC derby

 

This week sees another round of one-day games before the competition moves into two-day mode. Thank you to all players who have conducted themselves very well through the start of the season – it has been great to see our players enjoying their cricket.

Lesmurdie-Mazenod Cricket Club

The senior LMCC train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ray Owen from 4:30pm. Under 17 players from last season (or for this upcoming season) are very welcome to come along and find out more about the senior cricket club. It has been great to see some of our current juniors such as Josh Warden, Ben Adams and Brayden Ives make the step up to the seniors and have an impact in games.

 

Upcoming Events

Bowling Workshop:

The club will also be hosting a Bowling Clinic on Friday 22 November from 4:00pm. Coaches from Perth District Cricket Club will run this session with a focus on bowling and bowling technique. Suitable for ages U10 to U17. The session will be run at the Ray Owen Reserve nets.
