Senior School Learning

Year 3 and 4

In Literacy time, the 3/4 students have been working on identifying the Sound Chart 'R controlled vowels' in texts they have been reading. Students have been enjoying finding these vowels and sharing their findings with their peers. 

They have been learning to sound out the words, rather than looking at the letters within the word as this helps identify the correct sound. We are looking forward to continuing this investigation throughout the next couple of weeks. 

Year 5 and 6
