Plenty of sport has been going out in Term 2!

Well done to the Senior Boys Netball Team who came 2nd after playing six matches across the day. The boys needed some refreshing of the rules but showed great sportsmanship and most importantly had lots of fun on the court! Shout out to Miss JP for coaching! Although Clyde Peralta yelling instructions from the side lines may have led you to believe he was in fact the coach!

The Year 8 Girls Netball team had a fun day out and even managed to score a win after a day of competitive games! Thanks to Miss Blackmore for coaching the team and running training sessions so they were prepared for the big day!

Cross Country Try Outs

Thanks to Mr Jessop’s VET Sport and Recreation Class for running a lunch time cross country for all students to try earn a place in the Division Cross Country. The students planned and mapped out the course, set it all up and documented the names of all students that chose to compete. The work of our VET students allowed our HP runners to represent the college at interschool competition.

Year 7 Boys Soccer

Year 7 Boys Soccer

Well done to the Year 7 Boys Soccer team that have gone through to the next round after not only being undefeated but only conceding 3 goals across the entire day! Unbelievable! Their sportsmanship was just as spectacular with our boys stopping play to check on an injured opposition player. This team leading by example in our college value of respect. Shout out to their coach Mr. D’Auria who led their training sessions across the Term and got them prepared for the big day.

District Year 8 Boys Volleyball

The year 8 boys had won round one and were into the SMR finals. First round started off a tough one playing McClelland College, but the boys came out on top. Throughout the day we came away with wins to make the grand final against Sirius College. It was a nail biter, but the boys ended up winning both sets!! The teamwork and positive talk on court got the boys through and are now onto the STATE FINALS!!!! Shout out to Miss Raynes for coaching the boys to the next round!
