SBAT

On Wednesday 1st June our 2022 Horticulture Student Based Apprenticeship and Training (SBAT) students were able to meet Premier Daniel Andrews while he was here officially opening our Doctors portable.   The Premier took time to speak with our students to discuss their plans for the gardens that will surround the portable.

Mert and Emanuel explained the process undertaken by the group when designing the area, products and the plants that would be used.  The Premier liked the ideas the SBAT students came up with and complimented the design being used as it incorporates native plants encouraging local wildlife to the area. 

Work around the Doctors portable has commenced 9th June and will be continue every Thursday until the completion of the project.  If anyone is interested in the project, please feel free to pop up there on a Thursday.  The students are very passionate about their project, making a difference and being able to help beautify our school.
