Herstory Hackathon and Women in Footy

On Wednesday 8 March, Northcote High School will celebrate International Women's Day with two fabulous events - our second Herstory Hackathon and a lunchtime "Celebrating Women playing Footy!" panel with Darcy Vascio, Captain of the Carlton Women's AFL team and teammate Nat Exon talking about their experiences playing football.

Supported by the Young Workers Centre from the Victorian Trades Hall Council, 25 students will become Wikipedia editors and create or improve Wikipedia entries on amazing Australian women past and present, Australian women who are the unsung contributors to our national herstory.

Our Herstory Hackathon editors and their new Wikipedia pages will be profiled in an upcoming newsletter.
