Interschools Equestrian

Year 8 student Finlay B. of 8C, recently represented Doncaster Secondary College in the Interschools Equestrian Competition on her horse Missy. She competed in the five day State Championships for dressage and showjumping over the Easter Holidays. A couple of weekends ago, she also competed in trials hosted at Tintern Grammar for dressage, showjumping and cross country. Well done Finlay!

Senior Netball Round Robin

The Senior Netball Round Robin was held at Macleay Park on Tuesday, 11 May. The day started cold and wet but finished in wonderful weather. We had successes against Balwyn (30 to 0!) and Canterbury Girls C and D teams.

We had a close loss to Kew and challenging games against Canterbury Girls A and Camberwell.

All the Year 12 girls relished their last chance to represent the school in netball and played with great school spirit. A big thanks to Natasha D-R. 12E for being a great student coach, and a shout out to Jess S. 12H and Abbey S. 12A for being BOG for the day.

Senior Boys Hockey Team

Congratulations to all of the boys who played in the Senior Boys Hockey competition this week at Hawthorn hockey centre.

Our team captain, Oscar P. 12I, showcased some incredible skills which included an exceptional ability to toss the ball over 30 metres throwing our team into numerous attacks. Bradley L. 11G was also a standout, defending goals, keeping the scoreline down and frustrating the oppositions offensive moves.

It was wonderful to watch the team develop, as they were put through their paces by some very experienced hockey players in the opposition teams.
