Year 10 Integrated World of Work Program

Last week we commenced our Integrated World of Work unit.

Every Thursday, Year 10 students will participate in activities that will

help develop transferable work skills: Barista and Customer Service,

Textiles and Workplace Hazards and Emergency Management.

Barista and Customer Service: Making Coffee drinks and developing

appropriate customer service skills e.g taking care of the customer’s

needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful and high quality

service.

Textiles: Learning to design, create and sew an apron. Design and create a

stencil.

Workplace Hazards and Emergency Management: Further explore

workplace hazards and develop problem solving skills to eliminate or

minimise risk.

Year 7/8

In 7/8A we learnt in math how to share equally. 

We also talked about how to be safe during COVID 19. At school, at home and ourselves. 

In Inquiry we took photos of different types of Matter. There is gas, liquid and solid.
