The Prep Team

Prep A have kicked off Term 3 with lots of new learning and fun. We are learning to measure and to recognise Australian money. This week we traced around a ‘tall’ and ‘small’ person and measured them both with their shoes. Thomas was 6 shoes tall and Nadya was 6 shoes tall. We sorted and traced different Australian coins and notes. Penguins, we are learning about different environments and are learning lots of fun facts about where they live and what they look like. 

Year 5/6

5/6 have had a great start to term 3. We are learning to measure and recognise Australian money. Students have measured their height and used unifix cubes to show how tall they are.

Year 1/2

In Term 3, 1/2 C students are exploring different environments that animals live in. Students made blocks of ice out of shoe-boxes and paper while learning about penguins. Students of 1/2 C enjoy playing in their new dramatic play area called ‘Pizzeria’. Our students take great pride in displaying the ‘Number of the day’ in our Numeracy area and in learning about measurements.
