Junior School Fathers’ Day Stall

On Wednesday 2nd of September, the Junior School will be running our annual Fathers’ Day Stall, kindly assisted by the Prefects and House Captains.

All gifts will be $5, with students allowed to initially purchase 1 gift each. If there are gifts left over, we will run a ‘Second Chance Stall’ the following day.

To help us with the safe handling of cash, it would be appreciated if parents could send the correct money in a labelled envelope or zip lock bag.

Students will attend the stall in class groups, with teachers keeping a list of gifts chosen by the students to ensure that siblings purchase something different to each other.

Every year the students love having the opportunity to go shopping by themselves and we look forward to helping them celebrate their families.

Thank you in anticipation of your support.

Sibling enrolments

Are siblings in your family enrolled to commence in 2022?

Demand for places at KWS has grown steadily in recent years, to the point that there are now very limited spaces in a number of year groups in the years ahead.

This demand is wonderful news for the school, reflecting as it does the efforts of our staff and the reputation of KWS in the wider community, but it does mean that our current families need to be particular about waitlisting their children for enrolment well ahead of time.

The school prioritises enrolment of siblings but can only do this once enrolment applications have been lodged: for current families, it is very important to ensure that siblings of current students are waitlisted for enrolment at least two years prior to their planned entry year. This is because places in the school are filled 18 months to two years prior to commencement, after which it is often no longer possible to accommodate late enrolments. We are now offering places to students commencing in 2022.

Families who wish to send students to KWS are encouraged to enrol their children to ensure they are waitlisted for their desired year of commencement.

KWS has been the choice of education for generations of families, and we heartily wish to maintain these wonderful family relationships. Given the limited spaces in some year groups however, it is important that our existing families complete the enrolment process for their other children as early as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Admissions Team directly on 02 6392 0303.
