Music News- Week 21

Music Camp

Good luck to over 200 happy music campers in New Norcia this weekend! Over the course of an intense, three-day camp, students in the College’s secondary ensembles will undertake dozens of rehearsals and workshops to prepare for a busy term of performances. These students will also develop their musicianship and ensemble techniques in the beautiful surrounds of the Benedictine township – a unique opportunity to grow in camaraderie. Stay warm!

St Joseph’s Cathedral Concert

We are excited to announce that various ensembles from John XXIII College will be performing at St Joseph’s Cathedral on Wednesday 5 August at 6:30pm! While students were originally schedule to perform at St George’s Cathedral at 1:00pm on this day, ongoing renovations have prompted this change of location. The short concert will feature performances by flute, string and clarinet ensembles, alongside selected ATAR soloists, SSA Voices and Senior Voices.

Stay tuned for ticketing and further information about this lovely concert in coming days!
