Principal's Message

Dear Friends,

Thank you everyone for the year! We have amazing staff, wonderful students and a special community of parents and careers.

We really are so blessed at St Andrews Christian College. We have a solid and strong community of parents and staff who are Christ-focused and want our students to know God; to know their purpose in this world; and, to go out and impact the world for Christ.

It has been such a difficult year - probably the hardest in my 18 years of principalship in 2 different schools. But when we are in relationship with Christ, we can traverse the valleys and the most difficult of times knowing He is with us and guiding us.

I believe that Satan has been trying to bring down St Andrews Christian College. The evil one loves to distract, discourage and destroy all that is good - especially our unity. Because of our stance in the Lord and the way St Andrews is impacting the world for Christ, Satan wants to destroy us.

So we need to keep praying for God’s protection over the College and reminding each other that St Andrews Christian College is God’s school and we are in His arms. He is more powerful than any darkness we face.

In such difficult times I encourage us all to:

  • Pour out our soul before God in prayer.
  • Refocus on God; who He is; all He has done and His promises.
Focus on His sovereignty, power, faithfulness, providence, goodness and stability.
  • Reorder our hope - hope in God and praise Him. Psalm 103.

We have much to praise Him, especially as we approach the Christmas season.

It is my hope and prayer that you all have a special and holy Christmas, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour - Jesus.

May God grant you the light of Christmas, which is faith; the warmth of Christmas, which is purity; the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice; the belief in Christmas, which is truth; the all of Christmas, which is Christ.

Abundant blessings to you all over the holiday season,
