What's happening in the 3/4 classrooms

The Grade 3/4 students have been working hard settling back into onsite learning. It has been wonderful having all the students back in the classroom.

For Inquiry, we are continuing to look at “What makes me a well being?” by challenging our bodies and minds with different mindful activities that help us better understand our own personal needs.

In Religious Education we have continued with class discussions focusing on the Catholic Social Teaching (CST) ‘Dignity of the Human Person’, specifically the importance with why people should be treated with dignity and equity.

In Literacy, we have continued focusing on the different forms of poetry. So far we have looked at haiku poems and cinquain poems. We have focused on how we can enhance our writing using adjectives and emotive language.

In Numeracy, students have begun to explore statistics and probability, where students have been collecting numerous types of data and using their collections to display their outcomes.
