Support Unit

On the 3rd of November a group of students and staff from the ASC Support Unit traveled to Sydney to compete in the NSW Inclusive School Sport Ten Pin Bowling Finals. 

The team of 4 had competed in a regional event at Inverell earlier in Term 3 and made it through to the finals – a great effort. The team, including Malaki McLeod, Ollie Smith and Jarelle Ahoy traveled down with a small support group. On the day they bowled brilliantly and it was clear all players had improved and the team posted a great score. 

They placed 20th in NSW, beating all other schools in our area. The trip was a great experience overall (thanks in great part to the 2 support staff who worked tirelessly and kept everyone well fed) and we hope to make it again next year.
