Stage 4

Year 8 TEAL and YELLOW Science classes had an amazing opportunity to learn about obstetric ultrasound and sonography from an industry professional! 

Cara Andersen from Armidale Ultrasound was kind enough to visit ASC and pass on her knowledge and experience with ultrasound. She also worked with Science teacher Mrs Van der Eyk to provide students with a real-life pregnancy ultrasound! 

Students got a chance to see Mrs Van der Eyk’s baby (currently 17 weeks gestation) via ultrasound and then got to participate in a very special gender reveal!
