Science

Engineers without Borders visited ASC recently to run problem-based engineering activities with a range of students from Years 7 - 10. This included building a floating house, making a prosthetic leg and finding out how many blades on a wind turbine is optimal for renewable energy production.

This is the last of many visits we have had in Science this year, from the University of New England, University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, Lockheed-Martin Aerospace company, the Oorala Centre, Young Indigenous Women's STEM Academy and more.

We look forward to working with these partners again next year and always on the look out for more extracurricular activities to share with our students.

Thank you to all parents and families who have supported their young people in their Science learning this year.
