BHCS AWARD CEREMONY TOMORROW
Tomorrow, Friday 2 December, will be our Awards Assembly and we are excited to have parents join us.
The ceremony will be held in the Multi-Purpose Hall, at 9:15am until 10:30am.
Please note that while there is parking available onsite, it is limited, so if you are prepared to carpool or park nearby and walk that may be a good option.
The school will have face masks on hand for students who want to optionally wear them.

FINISHING DATE & TIMES
The last day of term for Term 4 is
Friday, 9 December
Normal finish times apply
- 3.00pm (Kinder)
- 3.15pm (Prep – Year 6)
- 3.30pm (Secondary)
Canteen
Please note that the last day for Student Canteen will be Wednesday, 7th December.
The last day for Café will Friday 9th December with food service until 11.00am and drinks available until 1.00pm
Buses & Shuttle Service
The bus & shuttle service will run on the last day of school as usual.
2023 Commencement
- Prep, Years 7s, Year 12s and some Kinder begin classes on Tuesday, 31st January
- All other students return on Wednesday, 1st February
- All bus runs commence on Tuesday, 31st January
DISCOVERY CENTRE
All books and resources are due back at the Discovery Centre by tomorrow (Friday, 2 December).
RECEPTION / OFFICE CLOSURE
2022 Closure:
- Tuesday. 13 December open 8.30am-4.00pm (normal hours)
- Wednesday, 14 December open 9.00am - 11.00am
2023 Opening:
- Thursday 19 January 2022 at 8.30am
SEMESTER 2 REPORTS UPDATE
Semester 2 reports for students in Prep to Year 11 will be emailed home to families. This should occur towards the end of the final week of school, unless there are unexpected delays. Year 12 students will not be receiving reports as their results are issued externally.
Should you not receive your child's report via email by Monday, 12 December, please email reports@bhcs.vic.edu.au and someone will look at resolving the issue to ensure you receive the required report. Queries regarding subject matter and grades should be directed to the teachers concerned.
CONVEYANCE & BUS ALLOWANCE 2023
Families who have applied for a Conveyance and/or Bus Conveyance Allowance in previous years do not need to complete a new form for 2023 - unless their circumstances have changed - for example, an additional child within their family has joined the school and/or they are now using the school bus.
Families who have moved address must submit a new application form in order to qualify for ongoing conveyance allowance. New families who believe they may qualify for the Conveyance Allowance are encouraged to complete a form and submit their applications if they have not already done so.
The eligibility criteria for the Conveyance Allowance is set by the Department of Education and is applied to a family's school fees. BHCS must be the nearest 'like' school, 4.8km or more from the residence. To obtain a copy of the necessary form(s) please email the office at schoolfees@bhcs.vic.edu.au
BOOKLIST, STATIONERY & DIGITAL DEVICES FOR 2023 (Year 7-12)
Textbooks, resource lists, stationery lists and digital device ordering details are now available for 2023. These have been emailed to families, as well as sent out via Flexischools. Please email office@bhcs.vic.edu.au if you did not receive this information.
