Principal's Report

No Hat No play

I love seeing our students working outside - here they are under our new Shade sails up near the Learning Shack - the shade sails were purchased via a $25,000 grant.

Grade 6 Photo:

I was lucky enough to be part of the Grade 6 Graduation Photo today.  I reflected as I watched the grade 6s have a photo with their buddy, on how they have grown and what they have learnt over their 7 years of Primary School. Not only have they learnt about reading, writing and maths but there are lots of opportunities for incidental learning that goes on about making friends, being a good friend, how to be respectful a d responsible and how to  be kind.

Its understandable that your grade 6 child might be feeling a bit nervous about the next big step, try and find a suitable opportunity to chat with them and acknowledge the feelings.

BIKE ED:

The river ride is still going ahead, we are just waiting for the flooding to subside. Families will be notified via Compass.

CRICKET:

Our Cricket team is playing in the Regional Final on Monday in Doncaster.

Good luck to all our grade 5/6 players, we hope you have a great day.

ENROLMENTS:

Enrolments are still welcome for 2023. We are keen to receive enrolment forms as early as possible so we can plan for next year. Thank you so much.
